Show me your custom rear hatch floors

Not sure if this belongs in the interiors section or here, but figured audio is probably the reason people have done custom floors in the hatch area, so here goes..

I'm making some changes back there and need to basically build my own floor. I currently have the wicked cas spare tire enclosure but thats not going to work for me anymore. Spare tire is coming out and will be replaced by other "stuff".

Wanted to see some examples of what people have done.. my thoughts are its going to have to be multipiece because of the angles on the sides, but want it secured well so that it won't be an issue during spirited driving or the off chance i make it back out to the track..

So if you don't mind sharing, post up some pics por favor!

Ron so that first pic, I'm assuming your box is separate piece from the floor itself right?

Correct. I installed the box and its top plate first, then cut my finished floor piece, which is split down the center... Layed it into place, and drilled through in a few spots for locating dowels, removed both sides of the finish panel, and applied laminate.

The entire assembly can be removed in about 15 minutes with a Phillips screwdriver and a 10mm wrench.

Thanks.. keep em coming.

Don't mean to go too far off topic of your discussion but does the Wicked CAS spare tire enclosure have the option of going completely stealth?

I see on their site they have the option of getting new rear carpet with the cut out for the sub to perforate through but I am wondering if there is an option for it to remain concealed.

I have the factory carpet over it and there is a bit of a bulge in it. If you were to remove the grating on the sub you could probably just sit the carpet over it with no issues. You would have to take care not to drop anything on the sub however.
