Default 2v or 4v receiver?

I want to get an aftermarket head unit for my 2014 Z w/ factory non-bose speakers. Which option would be best for me if I don't want to replace the factory speakers, 2v or 4v in regards to preamp? Will either hurt the factory speakers?
