Default BT to iPod interface for 2009 370Z w/o A2DP

For a while I've been dying to have A2DP in my 2009 Z, all the other cars I've owned either had aftermarket radios installed, or had A2DP built in.
Well, I have a lot of music and playlists and I update constantly, so having the iDevice in the car and dragging it in and out was a huge PIA when it was time to update. (I keep my iDevice inside the console under the cupholder), I use the little tray under the console armrest so keeping it in there was not possible.

So, over a period of time I've been trying to make an adapter from Viseeo work, the WMA1000. It's an iDevice emulator with BT A2DP and Metadata transfer that works really well IF you have the right conditions to make it happy. I've finally found those conditions now that I've had time to look at it seriously. My findings are below, hope they're not too verbose.

My power-the-12V to 5V convertor from ACCY voltage instead of from the iPod interface works beautifully with the WMA1000. I'm using an iPhone 5 with iOS 7.1.

I'm using the WMA1000, powered with a buck regulator from ACCY 12V (A deconstructed cigarette lighter 12V to USB charger) in My 2009 370Z Navigation. As I stated earlier it turns ON the WMA1000 BT interface device so that the iPod UART on the car Navi system can see the device, normally the Navi/iPod system is looking for something already powered up (All iDevices run on batteries), so this provides power to the WMA1000 before the Navi is finished booting, so the Nissan Navi sees the device as already on, and the UART communications with WMA1000 are immediately established, and the radio from then on sees an iPod, as intended.
The device I'm using in between the Nissan Navigation 30 Pin connector and the WMA1000 is listed below:

dockStubz Charge Converter and 30-pin Pass-Through Adapter

The Dockstubz adapter allows me to inject +5V from the ACCY powered USB charger into the BT device thru a USB Mini jack on the side of the Dockstubz adapter. This was much easier than building a break out board to do the same thing. Remember, the Nissan iPod interface, if it doesn't see any UART response from the connected device, will not establish a link. The Nissan Navi power to the 30 Pin connector pins 11 & 12 seems to lag the UART communications, so if the WMA1000 isn't receiving power, then it can't ACK the UART link and thus the Nissan Navi radio never sees it.
This all sounds more complicated than it really is. I have no pics because they're all off the shelf parts, with the exception of the 12V to USB charger, which I just pulled off the cigarette lighter end and wired it directly to the +12 and ground of the hidden 12V port in the console tray.
I've also removed the iPod dock from beneath the tray in the armrest cubby because I can't use both at the same time. Those connections are under the center console, accessed from pulling out the cupholder/seat heater switches.
