Probs turning the speakers up or down on Bose system.

Hey guys, had the same problem with two of the knobs. Volume kept going up or stayed nearly the same when it was turned down!?
Solved it by pulling the knobs off, (Yes, they come off, be gentle but firm

) then spray a little bit of contact spray in, let it dry for half an hour, finally put the knob back. Of course, shut the power off before this procedure.

my bose in my old 03 Pathfinder LE did the same thing right before i sold it. stupid bose equipment. sorry to hear

I have seen this happen with an over-liberal application of Armoral, it gets into the knob adjustment contacts and then become erratic and or develop a mind or their own.
