Glad you like the amp. Makes me feel even better about the purchase since I was hung up on the JL900/5 for a while.

I'm a noob when it comes to car audio so I'm relying heavily on a local shop for the install and tuning. From what I understand, we will not need to run a separate signal processor and should be able to handle the job using the filters on the amp plus the EQ and delay time features on the 9990HD. I guess there can be quite a bit more tweaking with a separate signal processor but that this set up should work pretty well on its own. I'll know once I pick the car up next week.
