Since I take trips with my 6 year old, I'd like to bypass the DVD parking break sensor. Internet research shows people have had a lot of success by just connecting the Green wire that would connect to the parking brake sensor to the BLack grounding wire or properly grounding out the Green wire. Have you had any experience with this and can you validate that this works?
Yes, you have to connect it to a ground, I had to do a fast and furious install and put a big *** switch to switch the bypass...
My HU needed the ground to be connected after the car was on... I guess a safety feature

When you're doing the install, you can play with the wires
