Default 2011+ Z's and bluetooth mic

Anyone that has a 2011 or newer Z with the bluetooth have any issues using their phone with the mic? People have very hard time hearing me over the mic in mine. I've heard that some of the bluetooth phone equipment may have been upgraded in newer models, so i was wondering if the same problem exists or not.

Can anyone relay their experiences with the bluetooth hands-free option in the Z?

nobody says it sounds like you are in a tunnel or hard to hear? Can you speak regularly or do you have to yell like me to be heard?

The other side always hears me fine but I have never asked them how I sound.

I have a 12 and the only time people have trouble hearing me is if im driving fast on a poorly paved road causing lots of road noise.

The tunnel comment could be due to poor phone signal perhaps?

well, to put into perspective, talking directly on the phone is like a night/day difference to the people calling me. I literally have to raise my voice for them to even comprehend what i'm saying. And if i'm actually driving, forget about it!

I'm facing forward in the driver's seat....i shouldn't have to move my mouth closer to the map light...ya know, might cause an accident But like i've said, i have to practically yell, and yes, yell towards the mic!

Just talked to Nissan, they said there's a software update for the Nav/phone system that i don't have. I'll give that a shot first...but i'm pretty sure others with 10's had this issue also. I'll ask them about the mic replacement when i go in.
