Video Over Nav Screen

I have a new 2012 SP/Turing Coupe. I have been able to get my iPhone connected withought any problem. I have also been able to get it to work as a bluetooth audio sorce - again without much problem although it appears it won't do both at the same time (as near as I can tell it is either connected as a phone or as a bluetooth device).

But I can't get video on the iPhone to play over the screen as video. I can hear the audio soundtrack of the playing video, but see no picture. Is this the bottom line?

Is there a way to get the video on the iPhone to play on the nav screen?

hey, I also have a 2012 model with the navi and my experience is the opposite to yours i am able to see the video on the screen using the apple composite cable but then there is no sound.
i know this thread is a while ago not sure if you fix this problem yet but any info you can provide is appreciated.
