Big - When you do a component install, do you have the tweets and mids in a co-ax setup in the door and take out the stock tweets. Or do you put in the tweets in the stock location?
The reason I ask is when I put in my components, I'm thinking of leaving the tweets in their stock location, and I'm trying to find the hard plastic that can be used for the mount. But I can't seem to find it anywhere in a store. Do you know what I'm talking about? It's a 1/4" black hard plastic...

You can do a few different things to get the new tweeter in place. Hard sheet of plastic is one, cut out the old factory tweeter and use the stock bracket to hold the new tweeter is another.

I would be replacing the stock tweeter with the new tweeter when I get my components, and using their crossover and new wiring of course. I was just curious about the new tweeters location, if I should put it back in the stock location, or move it to the door and have a co-ax setup.
