Default Installed hushmat

I have only had my car for a few weeks now and my only problem was road noise....maybe I am just picky. After much discussion with many saying it would not help I installed hushmat in the rear hatch area of the car and added some to door panels when I upgraded speakers. I am blown away at the difference...especially when added to doors. I can honestly say road and exhaust noise is cut in half...the car is soo much more comfortable to drive longer distances. I will list upgrades I have done so far.
Upgraded HU. Kenwood ddx719
Alpine 500x1. Mono amp ...driving JL Audio 8inch sub
Infinity kappa 6.5 doors
Alpine 300x4 for front speakers
15 sheets hushmat
I am extremely pleased with it.
My eyes are now drifting to under the hood.

I put hushmat in the trunk, wheel wells, and doors as well. I agree it cut the road noise in half! Good stuff....

I love the hush mat stuff, works very well and easy to put on. Streetwires also has a great dampening product.

Is there a forum sponsor that carries this hushmat? I'm interested in decreasing noise as well. Also where to install once purchased???

Check out the "Cabin Noise" thread in "General Discussions". It covers the topic in detail.
