Play MP3 tracks randomly

OK this will sound lame but... I haven't been able to random the tracks on my CDs.
I have 4 CDs in the 6CDs charger, all of them are filled with MP3 inside folders (burned via iTunes). Whether I select the "mix" button on the stereo to switch to All disc mix or 1 disc mix, the tracks keep playing in the A-Z order of folder and then each tracks inside each folder.

I can do this basic stuff in my VOlvo C30 so I suppose I'm doing a mistake somewhere...

The stereo may not be MP3 compatible... just my 2 cents.

It must be if he said they are playing A-Z... I am not sure what the "mix" button is though.

It is compatible because it reads the files and I have the MP3 logo on my stereo. It just won't random/shuffle songs

Very weird but I think I found something. When selecting the next song, the stereo won't shuffle songs. But if I leave tracks playing they are shuffled...

Yeah I prefer shuffle because I have a big compilation with many different stuff on it. So indeed, it shuffles only when the car ends to play a song, if I skip it simply goes to the next one.

You ever thought about replacing the stereo?
