Aftermarket NAV in Flip Up Enclosure

has anyone tried removing the flip up enclosure in their base model 370z and placing an aftermarket headunit there? I'd like to see some pics of some of your installs

I'd like to see some pics of some of your installs if it has been done. I don't really like the idea of removing the stock head unit and replacing it with a NAV there, seems pointless to have to look down to use the headunit. thanks
