I'm in the market for a double din head unit with Navi. I am trying to keep my options open but am steering towards a pioneer one.

I came across this Ottonavi one and it kinda caught my attention. Does anyone have any experience or information with this brand?

I've never heard of it but damn that's a little pricey. It also runs an ancient version of Android. Have you seen the Parrot Asteroid Smart? It's also Android based, made by a name brand company and costs half as much. I thought I saw a thread by a member that has one in his Z.

Kenwood or Alpine would be my first choice.

I agree it is very expensive and I have never heard about the brand before. I was just curious if anyone had any info on the brand.

Parrot Asteroid - I looked into it and there are no adapters that enable the steering wheel buttons. It is a good value though.

I'll look up some Alpine HU's when I get some time

i'd consider pioneer for app/dvd players, and kenwood for ones with nav.

alpine is kinda dated, no?
