There is no proof that the BOSE system actually weights more than the base audio system. Most of the extra weight is from things like leather seats, heaters, etc.

Generally, *supposedly* higher end audio systems, specifically, the audio unit, weighs more due to heavier amps. In addition, larger number of speakers = more weight. This is common sense cute guys.

Leather seats doesn't weigh much more than cloth seats, also depending on how much of leather is applied inside of a vehicle. You want to leather the exterior too?

Also please work on reducing your body weight.

Thanks,

Truth. Any car with a base stereo would have the cloth seats, as both leather and bose are part of the touring pkg.

I noticed not much of leather is applied on the Touring pkg 370z. Only part of the seats are leather. It's called an half-*** job.

Sport pkg that comes with standard audio seems to be the king. All other packages are junk in my professional opinion.

In my professional opinion the world is going to end in 2012

This is a better quality post compare to other junk posts provided by users. I need some class here.

Thank you,

Did anyone answer his three questions yet? i really want to pass this bridge.

Astrosfan 07-25-2011 04:05 PM

stock(base) stereo is terrible! test drive the car at hwy speeds and let us know how you like it. also, check HU installations in the DIY for interior pics.

Actually that is where you are wrong.
BOSE is not higher quality, it is smaller size producing the same quality. Therefore I could argue it weights less, though there are a couple more speakers so thus the weight is the same. And really, leather weights less than cloth? Do you even know what leather is?

Oh I am plenty skinny enough, if I was any skinnier I would be ill.
Maybe you should work on your trolling technique, it smells noobish.

Let's also not forget that touring seats are slightly heavier due to being heated and having electronic adjustment components, whereas base seats lack those electronics and hardware

What makes your opinion so professional?

Part of the seats are leather and the other parts are suede, which is pretty well done IMO. If you had done even a half-ass job looking at it or doing some research you would have known that. :tiphat:

BTW, you say you've heard the base stereo yet somehow you still need pics of the cloth interior that was also in the same car? Were you blindfolded when you sat in the Z to listen to the stereo? If you've seen the leather seats then it was definitely the Bose system you listened to.
