I just bought a 2012 Nismo yesterday after owning a 2004 350Z Roadster for several years with the Bose system.

The Bose system was good for its time, but not great... but what a rude awakening stepping into the 4 speaker stock stereo in the 370 Nismo.

Has anybody since had any good experiences replacing the head unit and stock speakers? It's suddenly #1 on my priority list.

Also, I'd like to add a sub if it can be done without drastic modification or eating up precious cargo space.

All suggestions are welcome and appreciated. :)

Thanks in advance.

Lot of us have swapped out the factory "audio" already. there are a few boxes out that take up everything from no useable space to a little to a lot. the rest can all be hidden also.

Thanks!

The stock system in the Nismo isn't Bose, but I'll peruse and see if there's anything pertinent in that thread.

Blah, sorry about that- skimmed your post and saw Bose. - oops. :)

No problem! I appreciate any attempt to provide info; I don't know a whole lot about car audio these days (my last purchase of car audio equipment was for my '92 Lexus back in high school), so I'm curious what other people have done and how it's turned out.
