Has anyone sucessfully installed a Touring (bose) headunit in a Base 370z?

Has anyone successfully done this? Were there any other modifications needed? Thanks!

its pointless to fully extract the sounds scape the Bose setup makes you need the whole system, with that being said for what that will cost you... you might as well go aftermarket head unit and get new speakers. it will then sound better then the Bose unit as long as you are picking out the right products for your needs.

Also bigaudiofanat is the forum audio guru, don't just ignore his post all of that is useful info. You apparently didn't read it cause the first link has to do with exactly what you want. Just read the first thread it will be enough to detour you and or anyone else.

And AK has search put on the forum for a reason, that's where those links all came from. Check it out!

Im not trying to be a a$$ im just saying, it a freaking headache you dont want. You have to get the sub the amp the 4 speaker the wiring harness and then you have to gut your interior to even install it. And im probably missing something.

Thanks, and yes I searched and read the posts above. I was just wondering if anyone had sucessfully done it and if installing everything was necessary (amp, speakers, etc.) or I if I could just add the headunit and power the four front oem speakers.

They have given up because there are so many harness you would need and you would need the entire system just not the head unit very much a pain to the point where they just get a aftermarket.
