So you want to power a new amp and sub? I wouldn't advice tapping any power or remote turn-ons from existing wiring. The stock wiring is so tiny, it may not even be enough for your amp. I would run new power wiring from the battery and the turn-on from the fuse box. Just my opinion. As for sub speaker wires going to your converter, you should be able to tap those anywhere you want AFTER the Bose amp. So if you want to tap in around the Bose sub wiring connector, should be fine.
I am of course running new power form the battery, sorry I should have been more clear. . What I was looking for is a good place to tap in for the high low converter and a good place to tap in for the Amp remote line (a switched 12v REM so it turns off with the car). I was hoping to avoid pulliung the dash apart assuming maybe the stock sub has a switched 12v rem line, AND a place to tap the high low converter. And yes bose headunit is remaining ... for now.
