How did you fit your after market Subs?

will do, my intial estimates with my current seating position (im also 5'9) allows for about a 5" bottom and 4" top. there are also some plastic on the back of our seats that may get in the way, but its perfect for mounting the sub on the box. im going to have the sub facing the seat, and the plastic on the back of the seat (14" gap) is perfect for letting the sub's cone move up and down. see the below picture:



the sub can easily work well in a small enclosure. i have an elemental designs sq10 in my corolla (under seat sealed enclosure) which is only 4" high and the bass is tight and clean. provides really nice thump with only 200 watts RMS run to it in a .3 cubic foot space
