Speaker Setup - Power Configuration
This might be an extremely dumb question, but since the base model only has front speakers, is there a way to tie the front and rear power from an after market stereo so that the front speakers are receiving the power normally going to the rear speakers? For example, the Kenwood dnx7120 is rated at 22Wx4 (RMS). Is it possible to configure that to 44Wx2?
It seems like most after market speakers like more power than the after market radio can supply in a 4x speaker setup (especially if running component speakers) - hence I've always added an extra speaker amp. Any information on this will be appreciated. Thanks. |
