lockout video while car is in motion

Is it really that hard to bypass DVD lockout now? Isn't there a wire that connects to the e-brake switch, so that it has to be pulled up in order

Isn't there a wire that connects to the e-brake switch, so that it has to be pulled up in order to play DVDs? If so, just ground the wire. Maybe I'm behind the times...
