IMO it would be easy to remove the glued down pieces, not sure about without a trace but it should be pretty straight forward.

When gluing down the wood pieces make sure to cut them so the tops sit flush with the height on the mounting bolts sticking up. The blue ones are shorter than the couple of large silver ones. I had to cut the amp rack out where my new amp was mounted so it would clear under the support brace overhead. I then mounted the amp to the 2x2 pieces glued down and then placed the cut amp rack pieces to the left and right of the amp, this is the only way I could get the HiFonics in there and still mount the Bose gear and the MTX Re-Q. It might be hard to tell but the amp rack is cut to fit on either side of the Brutus, the amp is mounted directly to the glued down pieces. Works for now till I change it up. http://www.the370z.com/members/juleo...-installed.jpg

I emailed zenclosures about the damaged cover on the box a while ago but I haven't received any response from them. Guess they're too busy to reply to my complaint. Whatever...I'm prob gonna use some black marker to fill out the damaged areas. :shakes head:

Dude, give him a chance to reply. You say you emailed a while ago...as in today? Maybe he is working and not checked his email yet. My guess is that Mike from ZEnclosure will take care of you.

or go to those arty stores and get some dark gray yarn, spread the strands and glue it in the bald spots. :)

It's been over a week since I sent in the email so I think he had plenty of time to respond. Chances are he never got my email. Oh well, it's no big deal since I wasn't expecting any feedback anyways. Other than the small nicks perfectly happy with the enclosure.
