i had the z120bt installed and they used a dash kit -- i dont see how i could attach the z120 to the dash without the kit. any info would

i had the z120bt installed and they used a dash kit -- i dont see how i could attach the z120 to the dash without the kit. any info would be appreciated as i would like to redo it without the kit so it looks cleaner. thanks.
