Single or Dual ??

Some of the shallow mount subs have single and some have dual voice coils ? What or the advantages of one over the other ? Does it matter ??

The advantages are that you can wire your sub at a lower ohms and get more power out of your amp. Just make sure that your amp is stable at what you are going to run it at. Such as 2 ohm or 4 ohms I usually run at 2 ohms or 1 as long as the amp is stable at 1 ohms check out the12volt.com for sub wiring.

Thanks googled it and got some info. It should not matter with the (jl) amp , puts out the same at any ohm ? But for others it's an advantage !!

The jl I am not sure what model is it. It may show ohm and watt ratings but only ath one ohms or another it probably does make a differance.
