:iagree:

I'm trying to decide on this or coilovers. Will this head unit also lower my car? and how much whp can I expect from this mod?

Wicked CAS 03-12-2010 08:15 AM

Hint,

We are giving you a $500 gift certificate... I can price you some coilover packages if you like. You can apply the $500 toward coilovers. what did you have in mind.

Can your adjust the color of the output on this HU like the Kenwoods? I would like to keep it as close to the stock amber / orange as much as possible.

It is a Kenwood! Sick looking unit. Mighty tempting! I'm sure you can change the colors though.

For anyone interested, this HU is awesome! I put mine in last weekend and it works exceptionally well.
The voice-activation is absolutely flawless. There are a lot of standard phrases that you use, but if you are in a screen, you can speak the name of whatever button that you want and it activates it. You can have the GPS on screen, hit the button and say "search phonebook" and your phonebook comes up.

I haven't installed my camera yet, but when I get it installed, I'll try and take a bunch of photos. If you're in the market for a high-end unit, this is the one to get. I don't believe you will regret it at all.

For those who have asked about the color adjustment of the buttons, it is VERY adjustable. You can go to the color screen and pick a color. If you don't like that exact color, you can adjust it like you would in Photoshop.

I could go on and on, but point is, this thing is awesome. Nazar will definitely hook you up.

omfg that HU looks awesome.. thats a hell of a deal..

TreeSemdyZee 06-01-2010 11:29 AM

Just wanted to let everyone that might be on the fence on this unit that there is a $150 rebate when purchased between May 1 and August 31, 2010.
I'm loving mine. Still haven't got the camera installed (spent 10 hours installing speakers Saturday), but the unit is awesome!

No install pics. My install pics would be hazardous to your health. :icon08:
I'm going to try to get some pics of the unit in the next few days to show some of the different features. I just installed the CMOS300 camera last week and I'll include some shots of it.

TreeSemdyZee 06-19-2010 06:49 AM

I finally took some pics. Sorry for the crappy photography. Not one of my greatest gifts. :p Thought I would take a lot of different shots so you could see different features. The camera is the Kenwood CMOS300.

Not sure why you would want one hardwired? Cameras connect to the HU via an RCA cable. In the case of the CMOS300, there is an RCA cable plus another cable that allows the HU to control the camera settings.
