I'm have been waiting for 2.5-3 months only b/c I'm doing allot of other work on my car and don't really have anymore time to do it myself, but when I'm done with my work and have time I'm going to get my money back and just do it myself.

Seriously guys...this is getting stupid. There are literally THOUSANDS of dollars to be made on this product if someone actually got it together for the sport model. Surely there has to be someone who has had a fiberglass box made for the 370 sport/nismo models...? I have contacted a few people in Northern Florida about getting a design together and if they come through, I will post pics and let you know of a group price. I would love to just order one from wicked and not have to deal with all of this, but I am TIRED of waiting on this product to get done.

Baer, way to go dude. Looks awesome. I removed spare, placed a 9inch @ 22.5degree angled octagonal 6inch deep 3/4 "mdf box with 12" polk and alpine m 500. 1cuft- woofer volume = perfect SQ for that woofer. Awesome smooth sound with stock fronts for now, cheap, 300$ total for now. We need a sport box w spare option

Thanks

The only problem with a box like this is by the time you fiberglass the wheel(I used 1 gallon of resin and 4 layers on the box)you only end up with .3-.6cf depending on who is building it(I got .5)
The other draw back is you must use shallow mount woofers due to very limited space, mine sounds great with 400watts of power to it,it hits hard but you can still listen to it at a very loud level without getting a headache, for people looking for more the 13JL would give it to but if I was going to use a woofer larger than a 10 I would build a box with 1-1.5cf and put it on top of the by the silver brace and use a woofer with longer cone would yield the sound that bass heads are look for.

I just want to say this again... I have this box in my sport package Z and love it. I had no idea there was a problem of any kind.

Take your box out and turn it upside down then put your spare on it you will see that it wobbles then put it back in and look to see how flush it sits,it about 1in to high mine is the same height as stock.

That has been the problem all along.

It's a silly thing to not buy the box over in my opinion. It doesn't rattle or move and you only lose a tiny amount of hatch space.

That's like going to buy a pair of shoes you like, you need a size 9 then they tell you they only have a 10.

I personally don't know anybody that would do that

Hah I disagree with that analogy. It doesn't affect the performance of the subwoofer or the comfort of the car. The top sits slightly higher than some folks expected. It took me quite a while to figure out what people were complaining about since Nazar said that it wouldn't sit perfectly flush...

Dead horse status: Beaten.

cvega will be dropping his car off with me for a couple weeks to make one for a sport model, I will need a sport model spare wheel and tire once again to come up with a solution for Nismo/sport models.

Anyone? Possibly local?

If you can't find one locally I'd be willing to loan my spare if y'all will pay the shipping/packaging.

The main reason this problem bugs me is that whenever I actually decide to put stuff in the back the entire box tilts to one side... the box takes what's left of the useable floor space and makes it unstable.

I implore someone to lend Wicked their spare and help out those of us that have already purchased the box so we can get a better fitting product. Thanks in advance. =)
