I am guessing its considered aftermarket. Its a Pioneer 4100NEX. It came with my car (I bought my Z used).

It's aftermarket. That's an easy install. Just do what I mentioned in the my post you first responded to.

Just wanted to follow up. Got it all installed. Was my first foray into car audio. Definitely a learning experience, but feel way more comfortable with future audio upgrades.

Besides that, you were 100% right. Is the perfect OEM replacement for the Bose subwoofer and sounds MUCH MUCH better. Its how the car should have come.

Also made a YouTube video of me sorting out the install in case anyone else wanted to make this a project for themselves with no experience. Was a good learning experience. I can say I know just about every piece of trim, wiring route, and grommet on the Z now (since I didnt know exactly how to approach this to begin with) lol
