Default Running speaker wire from door

Hello, for any of you who installed new speakers and ran new wire, where did you route the wire from the door to the body of the car?

I am considering upgrading my stock system. I would get components, an amp, tap into the preamp inputs to make RCAs to a DSP, and probably something like a wicked CAS enclosure for the sub.

Thanks very much! I was hoping... it was not something like this. I didn't look at mine yet, but I was hoping it wasn't a plug like that with no place for a little speaker wire to squeak through. This would probably take me 1-2 hours per side! What a pain! Well, we only have to do it once.

Thanks again for the video!

I don't know how hard the wiring part is but I can remove the door panel in just a few minutes. There are YouTube videos on it.

I don't see why you couldn't just cut the rubber inside the door feed the wire through and cut the rubber on the inside of the car to get the wire out?

I don't think there is anywhere that you can squeeze a wire in the grommet. But I ended up using the stock wiring and didn't run new wire since I am only 90w RMS on the door speakers. It sounds amazing!

It is not hard but it takes time. You have to run it through the existing door harness. I bought a wire puller and drilled through the plastic harness to run the wires through. Once that is done just solder it and forget it.
