Are you taking about wireless mirroring or just streaming music via Bluetooth? The majority of the new decks have Bluetooth and you can stream and phone via Bluetooth, also most of the new decks have apple car play or the android whatever you call it I'm an apple person myself. I have a cheaper old jvc in my daily driver and that can stream Bluetooth music but it dose not sound very good at all nothing like a direct cable or cd

I was just talking about streaming music. My friends audi my z. And a couple other cars I seen come strictly for Apple only. Can't stream music with bluetooth.

You can still do BT streaming when there's Apple CarPlay. CarPlay just allows you to use apps directly on the unit. Think "streaming apps".

I am guessing you and talking about factory? But as far as aftermarket it shouldn't matter Bluetooth should be Bluetooth and stream any device that has it. Me personally I hate Bluetooth maybe the decks got better but my old jvc sounds bad looses quality etc, I always run direct wire, usb and before all the nifty Tec came out it was good old cd

Yep was talking about factory. Wasn't sure if aftermarket did the same thing. Also have had a 7" pop out alpine that only had ipod cable. No aux. Pretty stupid. So just wanted to make sure this did both. Going to get a double din eventually.

Are these all by default Apple compatible? On the preorder link you guys provided the options only include Android. Is there also a detailed description for each model?

I saw that as well I was under the impression that both android and apple are both built in, that would be crazy to sell the same radio but with pre loaded software for each device, but maybe not? Kenwoods website lists both on their models so I think its safe to safe they are both built in.

heres some food for thought fellas, I did not get the deck yet but from the pictures I do not see any front usb slot or a place for a card or anything. With these new decks IE nav there are firmware updates from time to time. I guess I have to run a usb cable somewhere from the get go to do these updates without taking the deck out and accessing the usb port in the rear?
