What im saying is that nav screen is blank/black buttons do nothing for nav or audio, except that its still illuminated. if everything worked except sound then that would make sense...

I have a few thoughts. I would check your fuses first. I think there are 6 total fuses for the nav/radio system. You might have popped one when you disconnected the amp. If you didn’t hook up a new amp to the source lines there might be safety feature that disables the system if it doesn’t detect load on the source lines.

which fuses? I checked over all of them and they look fine, I did use a fuse checker, under the hood I only found 1 for hvac under the dash there weren't any specifically marked as hvac...
