The beauty of android based hardware is the rapid development. I'd be happy to hack around and help out where I can. I'm no fullstack developer but I can hack things to work.

My biggest point was you need to keep up momentum by getting this into some people's hands. Even if those people are helping develop the product.

I think the biggest hurdle will be the HVAC control hardware interface. It's either a CANBUS hack/reverse engineer, or a hardware controller that emulates the tangible controls.

If you want some help, lets chat offline about the project. I'd love to have an in-development prototype in my car :)

Someone in my local VQ forum in Arizona did this for his 07 350z.

I think it cost him about 8k to complete it.

For 8k I hope it performs sexual favors. =)

Is that the cost to reproduce or did he spend a ton in developing?
