Chipped edge looking for options

Long story short on my trip a rock came and cracked my windshield and dinged the edge of the roof.

I'm trying to explore some options and possibilities. Pretty much do it myself or go to a shop... or anyone one else can chime in and throw me some ideas.

It's about 3mm or so across but it's right down to the metal (rust around the edges already

) so I'd like to get this done sooner than later.

oh yea and the windshield... need to talk to my insurance broker Tuesday and then go from there.
