I bought a new 2012 Sport Coupe 3 weeks ago and am replacing the rear hatch with a base model version that doesn't have the spoiler (don't like spoilers, and yes I know everyone else loves them, etc.).
So I have a new Pearl White rear hatch with factory spoiler installed and etc. - no window glass since my glass is being put into the replacement. It's a flawless hatch/spoiler just off my new car. FS: $750 plus you pay the shipping (body shop estimates $150-200 to most U.S. areas) from Salt Lake City. Note: I do not have Paypal, I hate Paypal, I will not do Paypal. But you can send the money to the body shop and they will ship on your behalf, etc. |

I think OEM spoilers are around $400-500. In any event, my shop looked at filling the holes but the hatch lid is aluminum; that's problematical for dealing with a good fill and paint, etc. Had it been the usual stell or whatever it would have been easy.
And I fully agree that this is likely something for someone with an accident. The new lid would cost them $1600 (I know!). So they could save a lot. |
