Just wondering. If ur car has wax from the dealership already, can u put another coat of wax over it. Or do u have to clean it off then apply

Just wondering. If ur car has wax from the dealership already, can u put another coat of wax over it. Or do u have to clean it off then apply wax. Does it really matter if I was over it or do I really have to clean it all off first?

If your paint is in good condition and your car is properly cleaned, you can put new wax over old. I don't think I would strip the old stuff first. Use a good quality wax. I used Adam's Americana paste wax. Check out adamspolishes.com for more information and how to videos. Junkman2000 has an excellent series of how to videos as well.
