Jeep owner, wait, what?

I've already posted a thread here asking for advice on 370Z parts/advice etc.

I've been in the marked for a used Z for quite some time and am looking to do some mods to it ASAP.

I'm currently in Afghanistan as a contractor, so the process/road to acquiring my 370Z will take longer than expected. This means more research time, or better yet, A LOT of time for my parts to show up (since I hear about 99% of parts are back-ordered).

Serious question: is it honestly cheaper for me to just go to Japan and pick up the parts myself? Considering I will have to ship this stuff myself from Japan to AZ, sometimes it is cheaper to just go with someone stateside.
