Well I have had mine on for about 700 miles now and they are amazing tires. I just had them changed from air to nitrogen and on my drive today (85 degree day) they only went up a half a pound after driving mostly highway with a little city from 35lbs to 35.5 I guess nitro is great for leveling out the cold to hot tire temps.
Here is my main question though. I know my old stock (sport/touring 370) tires had very little tread left and they would let me know every crack and tar strip in the road which was a bit harsh but i prefer performance over any other aspect of a tire. My new re11's feel a bit softer (definitely quieter but i don't care about that). I know i have a bit more tread but I'm wondering if i should bump the pressure up just a bit for a little stiffer tire feel or if it's all in my head. Previous tires - stock sport/touring tires at 35lbs all around 245/40/19 front 275/35/19 back New re11's - 35lbs all around 245/40/19 front 285/35/19 back If you are running these tires and same size what are you running yours at? |
