Dealership woes...

So my splash guards came in today, so I'm pretty stoked to get 'em put on. The sales guy drives off in my car, it's gonna take about an hour.

Default Dealership woes...

So my splash guards came in today, so I'm pretty stoked to get 'em put on. The sales guy drives off in my car, it's gonna take about an hour. I get my car back and there are gun metallic splash guards on my Pearl white Z. FAIL!

I ask them to take them off and politely requested they order the right color. They tell me it's going to be 1hr+30min to take them off because of workload; I don't have hat kind of patients at this point. Needless to say, I'm driving around with a multicolored Z. FML!

Oh yeah, it took like three weeks for the wrong ones to come in.

Order from vendors here is a lot cheaper and got mine in 1 week.

Um, thats why you do easy stuff like that yourself. Less headaches and $.

How much did they charge you for the install?

it was all free. They didn't make me pay for illuminated sills, carpets, trunk mat or splash guards, but the splash guards weren't on the car when I bought it.

I don't even want to drive my car. Sounds silly, but I really don't. Me and the wife are car pooling next week, lol.

I know sh!t happens, it's just annoying when it happens to me.

Thats the same thing I was thinking. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt; maybe they, as the techs, thought that is what the customer(me) wanted. Oh well, you win some and you lose some, lol.

I'll let them deal with all that when the right ones come in. I don't want to ruin anything and give them a reason not to fix it. No money is coming out of my pocket so I'm going to remain cordial and keep my cool.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic

Sometimes I walk past it and get annoyed all over again, and other times I see them and think to myself, "It could almost work." LOL
