butt hole light?

I'm kinda curious as to why nissan added that butt hole light in the middle of the lower rear. Like what is its purpose? The 3rd light at spoiler area would'

ve been enough.

It is for a rear foglight. These are required by law in many foreign countries. It makes the car more visible to oncoming traffic in inclement weather.

I've used it a few times already...I like to think it'll help prevent some ahole from rear-ending me in bad weather.
