Default Removing/Installing rear hatch

I am looking to change my rear spoiler from the stock sport one to something a little different. Wanting to avoid plugging holes, I need to know how difficult it is to remove the rear hatch on a base w/ sport package and then of course install just a plain base hatch in its place. Thanks.

I got it done at a Relentless Autosports, there are quite a few wirings involved and antenna (if you have GPS). Jmlenz did it himself, you can ask him for some advice. Also my hatch with the spoiler (had no spoiler base hatch before) won't pop completely open sometimes, I think this is due to the dampers being different or something.

Thanks for the referral, Ill reach out to Jmlenz. As for the Navi, I have a base so at least those wires wont interfere. I also have my car at the dealer today to replace a bubbled tire, asked them to replace the hatch springs while its there as per the TSB. Thats something you should look into, there is a TSB to replace the springs that pop open the rear hatch, or you could DIY with a few pennies, search around the forum for those.

This problem is well documented even with fully stock vehicles.
