A while ago my dealer told me my subframe bushings were leaking and needed to be replaced for $2,100. I called a local mechanic that specializes in Z cars and they quoted me $900 labor, but couldn't locate the part. I'd like to just order the parts on my own and go the $900 route. Can anyone recommend some subframe bushings? I was looking at these SPLs but, I'm kinda embarrassed to admit, I didn't even know what subframe bushings were until they went bad so I don't know what to buy.
What factors should I worry about? Am I going to get a rougher ride and/or more road noise with some bushings over others? |
