the si is in great condition. it was in a small fender bender where i had to replace the bumper but thats the only thing that has been wrong with it. thanks
I don't know your financial situation, so I would look into wether or not you can afford the overall cost including the additional insurance and maintenance. Everything is going to cost more than the Civic, from fuel cost, insurance, parts, winter tires & wheels, etc.... and that's before the mod bug bites you. Your going to loose quite a bit on the trade, especially if it fairly new and has an accident on record. Your also trading in some practicality, so I would be hesitant if you need to haul anything bigger than a small travel bag or more than 2 people. You can probably find a used base in the neighborhood of $25k or more at a dealer, but the prices tend to vary a lot. A local search will give you a more accurate pricing. Sorry to say, but I think its going to cost you more than $5k up front for a trade in.

I pay $1,680 a year for insurance in NY (Allstate) with a clean record (30 yrs. old). My rate actually went up recently ($1,920 a year) and I plan on switching. The lowest I could find (Geico) was $1,440 a year. This is full coverage.
