I'm also considering MXP.

I can't really tell if there is a lot of rasp just from the video. However, since my Z is not a dd I really don't care if it's loud or has some rasp. I do know Lou @ amp moto has been trying to sell a used set for a while and you might want to talk to him. I think it might be the same set that Rays was trying to sell. Good luck.
