I know there are a lot of posts out there about exhaust systems, but I thought I would ask for suggestions before I go through them all.

I’m looking to upgrade my exhaust system, but I’m not limiting my thoughts to just the exhaust system - I want to include the possibility of headers, HFC’s and test pipes as well.

Anybody have any thoughts (good or bad) about what I should get?
Here’s a list of my requirements.

I want extra horsepower. If I can’t get it, why bother.
I live in Virginia, and this is my daily drive. We have mandatory inspections once a year, and mandatory emissions inspections every 2 years. Everything has to be able to pass these inspections.
I don’t want my wife to know that I’m coming home because she can hear me from 3 blocks away.
I have Swift springs, and Stillen sways. In other words, the car has been lowered about an inch, and I don’t want to scrape everything all the time.

Suggestions?
