They're probably saying anti-theft codes for the radio since they want you to disconnect the battery during the install. Do our radio's even have a code? Do you have Bose or standard?
Most companies put the radio anti-theft code on a card that is usally together with your owner's manual. I don't remeber coming across one myself, but they again I haven't really looked.
