First, see if they are both fully screwed in... If not, do so , and check the alignment... if its still off, unscrew the side that needs more of a gap, do so until it evens out gap.

Mine was off and my performance shop taught me this, they adjusted my mine to be perfect within a matter of seconds.
interesting...i know i saw in the service manual there was a way to adjust the hood gap, but didnt know it was this simple. i guess i will try it on my lunch later
