could you post the picture you used for the start up image, or send it to me? I haven't had any luck changing mine yet (on the DNX9960) but I haven't tried all that hard either. There is an option to change it in the menu, but it's unavailable and I haven't cared enough yet to bother beyond that.
It would make a fine background though if it's not the start up
