By the time I hit the next mile, it "----" out as if I have no fuel left. Because of this, I have no real Idea when I will really run out of fuel. While I don't mind stopping and getting fuel once it says 40 miles left, I would hope it never happens when I am on the freeway with 5 or 10 miles to the next gas station.

Anyone else have this issue?
Close enough.
Mine went something like 42 mile range. 35 a minute later, then 29 to --. 12 miles later I needed 17.4 gallons. This is the only time I let the tank get low. I learned my lesson. I did have 42 miles of range.
