A mechanic friend of mine had a can of window seal lubricant/dressing a year or so ago that he sprayed on my Xterra seals. I don't know if it would help with freezing but I will try and find out what it was. Oh, I found what he had... 3M Window channel lubricant and dressing:

If you have a 7AT, I would seriously consider a remote start for a DD parked outside. If not, someone just posted instructions and diagram for remote starting the 6M. I personally would be reluctant to do that... as scatterbrained as I am, I can see remote starting the car through the front of the garage. I don't know if his method would prevent that because I didn't look at the post that closely.
