I thought it was pretty interesting that they could use software to estimate where the stock internals would blow up. I got curious about the program so I Googled it.

CAEFEM is "A Windows-based finite element analysis system used to perform both linear and nonlinear structural and thermal analyses of design models". Link above if of you engineering types want to read further.
