Another reason to keep your winter wheels somewhat sunken in is to keep all the crap you'll be driving through in winter (snow, salt, rocks from pot holes, you name it) in your wheel well and not sprayed out over the side of your car. I have the 25MM spacers for my winter set up and the wheels are still a little sunken in, but not too much. My set up: 18" TRMotorsports C2 (18 x 8.5) with Blizzak LM-25 (225/50R18)
