As for clay i only spot clay once a year or once every 2yrs. i rarely get any comtaminants bond to the paint as i QD pretty much after each drive. 
ive pretty much decided not to use any 'wax' or 'sealant' type products as it's over kill for my cars...and just use spray products (mainly Griot's SprayOn Wax, SpeedShine). for my dd's different story. i use polymers for them. |
I look after mine about the same way. You should try OCW as it takes only minutes to do the whole car with great results and good durability. I use OCW after every 2-3 washes, so nothing sticks and it beads like a mother. I also QD regularly. I have found that OCW works great on the rims as well. When ever I do the car I do the rims. I never get anything stuck to my rims. I can pretty much rinse them clean.
